Why does my first deposit have to come from an account in my name?

To facilitate our security trustee agreement, the very first deposit into your Tally Account needs to be from an existing bank account registered in your name. This account becomes your default non-Tally Account, enabling us to swiftly return any remaining funds should you close your Tally Account.

You can change your default account to another account in your name at any time by contacting us via support@tallymoney.com.
