First deposit has to be from an account in your name.

Why do I need to use a banking account in my name when making my first deposit?

You need to make your first deposit from a banking account registered in your name. This account will then become your default non-Tally account.

This default account will be used as part of our security trustee agreement (see FAQ on Trustee agreement) and as a means of returning any remaining funds should you close your Tally account.

You can change your default account to another account in your name at any time by contacting us.
